Seattle Flying Dragons will be participating in the SeaFair torchlight parade on July 25th 2026. All members are encouraged to participate. Guests are also welcome to join (must be 12 years or older per parade organizer)
Expectations
Be prepared to (stop & go) a total of 2 to 3 miles over the course of the evening (3+ hour). We MAY include a vehicle (preferably EV) to lead/follow the group so someone can take a ride for periods of time.
Learn a SIMPLE 30- to 60-second drill that will be performed periodically throughout the parade. Will very likely use our racing cadence to simulate Drill. May include the use of lighted paddles and/or other dragon boat-related props.

7:30 pm: parade begins
10:30 pm: parade ends (approximate)
Parade will follow Alaskan Way down the waterfront, starting at Broad Street and ending at Yesler Way. The route is approximately 1.3 miles
