Women's Race Team - Seattle Flying Valkyries
A Valkyrie is a Norse mythological female warrior. Our amazing team of women within the Seattle Flying Dragons boat club incorporates strong will, competitiveness, genuineness and comradery in a boat filled with a group of unique and spirited individuals of varying ages and experience. We work hard, but also play hard and have a lot of fun in the process!
We welcome new women to the team at all times and members can practice at both Lake Union and Kenmore locations. Our main practices are held on Wednesday nights at 6:00 on beautiful South Lake Union. Many of us have never participated on a team sport until now, but the club is very welcoming and patient with new members.
