The SFDBC Executive Committee met again today to decide if we would resume practices now or continue the hiatus. We also discussed what practices might look like once we resume. After a thoughtful discussion, the SFDBC Executive Committee (which includes the Board of Directors) has decided on the following:
PROOF OF VACCINATION - We will require proof at your first practice (after we resume practices) that you are fully vaccinated. Bring proof, see brief list below. We'll record that we have seen it, so you won't have to show it again. We will not take a picture of or record your actual vaccination record. For more information about vaccine verification, go to https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/COVID19/VaccineInformation/VaccinationVerification FULLY VACCINATED - Full vaccination is valid two weeks after last recorded dose:
ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF VACCINATION
NEXT MEETING - The Executive Committee will meet again on Feb 12th to decide when practices will resume. The Committee may also consider implementing 50% capacity limit in boats and a mask mandate. If you have questions or concerns, please email our COVID Team at [email protected]. Thank you for your understanding, stay safe, and "let it ride" for now. Dear Fellow Dragon Boat Members,
In light of the changes in the COVID situation, the strain on our healthcare system, and after much discussion, the SFDBC Executive Committee (which includes the Board of Directors) has determined it is best to suspend practices for the next 2 weeks. Practices for January 9-22 are cancelled. You will see this update take effect in Team Cowboy shortly. The Executive Committee will meet in 2 weeks to determine our next steps and look at how we will resume practices. You can expect another email with an update at that time. If you have questions or concerns, please email our COVID Team at [email protected]. Thank you for your understanding, stay safe, and "let it ride" for now. Laura Bogh SFDBC President |
